Pakistan Bans PUBG over suicide complaints

PUBG Suspended by Pakistani Authorities Over Complaints Of Suicide Incidents

PUBG is an online multiplayer game developed by PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of the Korean company blue hole.


In a statement, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority said that various complaints were lodged against the game wherein it was said that " it is addictive, time-wasting and poses a serious negative impact on the social and psychological health of children.

"Some suicide cases linked to the games have also reported in the previous weeks which worsen the situation."

Earlier this may, LHC also directed the authorities to look into the matter after hearing the complaints. A hearing will be conducted in this regard on July 09, 2020.

on June 23, a senior police official in Lahore had recommended a ban on the games. He wrote to the IG Punjab seeking help to move a reference against PUBG. The action was proposed when 16 years old boy died by suicide when he failed to accomplished a mission assigned to him is stipulated time

PTA also urged the public to provide their view on the game by emailing them before the 10th of July. PUBG is the most trending game in Pakistan as it has millions of users and Pakistan became an attractive market for the company.

Pakistan Made Drones to tackle locusts attacks

Pakistan made drones to fight against locust swarms   Pakistan has manufactured drones that would be used to encounter locusts’ swarms. After creating ventilators locally National Radio Telecommunication Corporation or NRTC announced earlier this week that they have made Drones.
